Welcome to New England’s Animal Adoption Association blog!

This site will give information regarding what to consider when adopting a pet, how to better handle blind pets, as well as lists of shelters all around New England. My hopes for this blog are to deliver information on upcoming events that involve the shelters in New England.

I made this website hoping that it would spread awareness about rescuing animals from humane societies and shelters. So many animals are put into shelters, and never end up finding a forever home. If I could adopt all the animals myself I would, but that is impossible for one person to do. Even though some people may not be able to adopt an animal but still want to help, there’s always volunteering at your local shelter or even donating to your shelter of choice!

Just remember, EVERY adoption matters!!!
